Event Details:

Welcome to the fifth in our summer series of wellbeing walks, designed for anyone who would like to discover new places in the Eden with friendly, like-minded people. These walks continue to explore local green spaces, showing how nature can be part of everyday life right on our doorstep.

Explore Thacka Beck Nature Reserve on an all-ages nature hunt and discover how people and nature can thrive together.

This week’s walk is especially family-friendly and relaxed, exploring Thacka Beck Nature Reserve and the surrounding paths near Bowerbank Way.

This is a great option if you’re looking for something easy, sociable, and suitable for all ages. We’ll be taking part in a nature spotting activity, encouraging curiosity about the plants, birds, and wildlife we share our local spaces with.

We’ll also visit the tree nursery to learn more about how local nature recovery is happening in practical, hands-on ways.

A welcoming walk for families, beginners, and anyone wanting a gentle outdoor activity in the school holidays.
