Previous workshops began to tackle a lack of bankside cover in the restored channel, and this workshop will install further woody material to improve fish and invertebrate habitat. The workshop will offer a great opportunity to see the woody material that is already in place and established, along with being involved with installing more structures.
Please bring outdoor clothing (waterproofs, warm clothing, sturdy footwear etc) and a packed lunch if you would like to observe. If you would like to help with installing the woody material, please bring work/gardening gloves and waders (make sure they’re clean – disinfectant will then be applied before site entry).
This event is being run and managed by the Wild Trout Trust. For booking you'll need to email them directly if you would like to attend. Book your place by emailing Gareth Pedley at the Wild Trout Trust [email protected] (Bookings will be on a first come first served basis)
