Event Details:

Welcome to the second in our summer series of wellbeing walks, designed for anyone who would like to discover new places in the Eden with friendly, like-minded people. These walks are relaxed, social, and gently guided, offering a chance to slow down, connect with nature, and see familiar places in new ways.

This week we are delighted to be joining up with Home Instead for their free Morrisons coffee morning (10:00–11:30), open to everyone. You’re warmly invited to come along for a cuppa and a chat before the walk, helping to create a friendly and welcoming start to the morning.

Afterwards, we’ll set off together to explore Castle Park in Penrith on a colour hunt walk (11:30-13:00). This playful, mindful activity invites you to notice and collect different colours in nature — from flowers and leaves to skies, water, and unexpected small details. It’s a simple but powerful way to slow down, focus the mind, and enjoy the park in a new way.

A gentle, accessible walk perfect for all abilities, offering time to meet others, enjoy good company, and reconnect with the natural world right in the heart of town.
