Join us for the first in our series of eight free wellbeing walks being held every Monday.

Walk to St Cuthbert's Chapel via Lady's Walk, exploring patterns and textures in nature through mindful observation and creativity.

Welcome to the first in our summer series of wellbeing walks, designed for anyone who would like to discover new places in the Eden with friendly, like-minded people. These walks are gentle, guided experiences that combine time outdoors with simple creative and sensory activities to help you slow down, notice more, and enjoy the landscape in a different way.

On this opening walk we follow the beautiful Lady’s Walk from Langwathby towards St Cuthbert’s Chapel, following the River Eden through peaceful farmland and riverside paths.

This walk is ideal if you enjoy being outdoors but don’t always know where to go, or if you’d like a bit of encouragement to explore more mindfully. Along the way we’ll be looking closely at patterns and textures in nature, with optional creative prompts using simple art materials to help capture what we see.

It’s a chance to connect with place, try something creative, and enjoy a relaxed walk in good company.
