Event Details:

Welcome to the sixth in our summer series of wellbeing walks, designed for anyone who would like to discover new places in the Eden with friendly, like-minded people. Each walk offers a chance to slow down, meet others, and experience familiar landscapes in new ways.

Escape the city on this gentle riverside walk, discovering local wildlife, birdsong and the calming sounds of the River Eden.

This week we step just beyond Carlisle into the quieter stretches of the River Eden, exploring green spaces where the city meets nature.

This walk is ideal if you’re looking to escape the busyness of everyday life without travelling far. We’ll be focusing on wildlife, birdsong, and the changing character of the river as it moves through an urban edge landscape.

It’s a refreshing, restorative walk designed to help you unwind and reconnect with the natural world close to home.

We want everyone to feel welcome on this walk. If you are unsure whether it is suitable for you, please get in touch before booking and we can advise.
