Event Details:

Join us for a gentle walk around Thacka Beck nature reserve (owned and managed by Cumbria Wildlife Trust), discover the history of the reserve, explore the nature on show and Thacka Beck, where we'll discuss the work Eden Rivers Trust did to help reduce the risk of flooding. There is a gravel/earth path but the ground is a little stony and there are a couple of slopes. Wheelchair-friendly kissing gates give access from Thacka Lane, Cowper Road and Bowerbank Way.

 If there is time, we’ll also pay a visit to the nearby Eden Community Tree Nursery owned and managed by Eden Rivers Trust.

This event is part of The Great Big Green Week
