Ever fancied having a green, living roof but not sure where to start? Drop in to the Eden Community Tree Nursery and help us build our new, bigger green roof and pick up practical hints and tips along the way! No experience necessary, we’ll show you how. Wheelchair accessible. Please note there aren’t any toilets at the nursery. You can drop in for an hour or stay all day. If you plan to stay for the full five hours, please bring a packed lunch.

This event is part of The Great Big Green Week

Every June, thousands of events take place in towns, cities and villages across the country. From repair cafés and nature walks to community clean-ups and film screenings, people everywhere come together for good and make a real difference during The Great Big Green Week.

More than a million people will come together from 6 to 14 June to take action for their communities, for nature and for the climate. Together for good, we can make our neighbourhoods better places to live, protect the natural world we love and show politicians and decision makers that people across the UK want positive change.
