A great place for the people of Penrith to enjoy being in and watching nature, and habitat restoration in action.
The Cold Springs site is part of our Access to Eden: breaking barriers, building bridges project. Over the span of four years, new accessible access point and paths, rest places, signage and interpretation in the wildlife garden and pond are all being created on this site. Alongside this, community-led habitat enhancement: ponds, trees, wildflowers and an orchard are being added at the site. A series of activities and events for families, young people, local community and under-represented groups are also underway, helping to introduce the site, enabling people to enjoy and learn more about the site.
