Until recently, a small, yet well-loved creature was missing from Eden’s riverbanks, but thanks to our water vole reintroduction programme, this adorable and vital part of our ecosystem is making a comeback!
By adopting a water vole, your gift will not only help us further our mission to make water voles a common sight once more along Cumbria’s rivers, but also support our wider work to enhance and protect Eden’s rivers.

Order your adoption pack for only £20 and help us create and protect homes for wildlife where water voles can thrive.
You will receive a pack in the post containing:
- your personalised adoption certificate, and a
- beautiful photograph of a water vole,
Plus,
- Two seasonal email updates about water voles, their habitat, and a behind-the-scenes look at our reintroduction project. You will also be the first to know about any of our water vole reintroductions taking place in 2025.
How to order your water vole adoption pack

To order your pack:
- Select how many you would like to buy,
- Enter the name you would like on the certificate (if you would like it kept blank to fill in yourself, please write BLANK), then
- Click on the button to pay securely via PayPal.
We are only a small charity, so we will post out adoption packs from Mondays to Wednesdays.
We can post to UK addresses only.
Order by 9am, Wednesday 18 December to receive by Christmas (based on Royal Mail’s posting dates). Orders placed after this time will be processed on Monday 6 January 2025.
