Work party: hedge planting at Bowscar
As part of our ongoing work supported by United Utilities to protect the borehole at Bowscar and clean up and safeguard vital drinking water supplies. join us for a day of hedge planting to slow the flow of water (and nutrient-rich run-off) towards the borehole.
Suitable for: anyone with a reasonable level of mobility.
Experience: no experience needed.
Wear/bring: gloves and stout footwear/wellies, old work clothes, waterproofs, drinks, snacks & lunch.
