Ravenstonedale and Smardale walk

A walk with two nature reserves, three pubs (!) and ancient church and priory, a flower rich meadow, a meandering beck, Giants’ graves, and a viaduct.

Length: 71/2 miles, 12km. 3-4 hours.

Route: Ravenstonedale (south) > Fat Lamb Hotel > Ravenstonedale
Ravenstonedale (north) > Smardale Bridge > Smardale Viaduct > Ravenstonedale

The path over the Smardale Gill viaduct has now re-opened!
