Priority River Habitat Survey Training

Date: Thurs 11 Jan | 10 am - 3 pm | Dufton Village Hall

Interested in citizen science?

Would you like to get more involved with the work we do to look after our river environments?

Join us for this FREE training day and learn how to survey priority river habitats.

The one-day training will consist of a theory session in the morning in Dufton Village Hall, then, after lunch you’ll get the chance to put the theory into practice outdoors. By the end of the training, you will be equipped to confidently conduct habitat assessments.

This training is part of the Priority Habitats Project which aims to train people as citizen scientists to carry out assessments on smaller waterbodies. Data from the surveys will be used to identify and prioritise areas for protection and restoration.
