It’s official, we've uprooted ONE MILLION Himalayan balsam plants, an Invasive Non-Native Species, breaking what we thought was an ambitious 2026 target, months ahead of schedule!

An army of local volunteers were out in force to remove Himalayan Balsam, an invasive non-native species (INNS) blighting water courses within the Eden catchment area.
