It’s been a busy start to the week as we welcomed a team of volunteers to our offices in Penrith this morning for the start of a three day training course as we add to our vegetation survey team. Surveys form the basis for restoration and management of the habitats and landscapes in our conservation projects and are vital for understanding the sites we work on. Trainee volunteers have already been out today for a taste of surveying and the Cumbrian climate!
