Bash, thrash and mash an invasive plant from the Himalayas that’s taking over! An instantly rewarding and very important activity that will help protect Eden's flora and fauna. Let's get together and get rid of this invasive, non-native plant from our riverbanks!
This is a new site for ERT volunteers and we’re sharing our pulling power with the local community to encourage more people to get involved and help remove balsam in a strategic way downstream from the highest point that it occurs. If you haven’t been out with us yet - or even if you’ve never bashed balsam before - this is your chance to join in at a site where we can really make a difference.
- Venue: Branthwaite near Hesket Newmarket
- Dates: Thursday 11th September
- Times: 10am - 3pm
Suitable for all ages - under 18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
