Initial three-year term
Voluntary role, out-of-pocket expenses considered
Are you interested in the environment and passionate about the Eden Valley?
Could you volunteer your skills and time to help Eden Rivers Trust develop its work to improve and sustain the River Eden and its catchment– and to become an even better place for people and wildlife?
If you answered yes, why not join us as a trustee!
We are seeking new trustees to help lead and govern our ambitious environmental charity.
The Trust, whose vision is A Healthy Eden for All, has been working with partners and volunteers since 1996, developing and carrying out innovative environmental projects that restore rivers, improve habitats, manage floods naturally and promote water-friendly farming. These conservation activities are integrated with creative programmes for schools and community groups that promote awareness, access and learning.
Whilst all our trustees have an interest in our core work of conservation and rivers, we are particularly (but not exclusively) interested in enhancing skills within the Board in marketing and HR as well as gaining representation from communities who have experienced flooding.
Our ultimate aim is to develop and broaden the diversity of our Board of trustees, ensuring we have a variety of perspectives and backgrounds so that our governance is as robust and as representative of our stakeholders as possible.
