Tree tidy-up for The Great British Spring Clean

Date: Saturday 21 March, 10am - 3pm,

Trees in tubes planted on the banks by the river

18/03/20 – Coronavirus update. In light of the recent updates from the UK Government regarding the coronavirus and advising people to avoid non-essential social contact, this volunteer event has been cancelled.

This is a fast-moving and evolving situation but we hope you understand that this was the responsible thing to do.

The Great British Spring Clean has now been rescheduled for 11-27 September  – please keep an eye on the Things to Do page for details of rescheduled events.

The annual Great British Spring Clean is upon us, and this year we thought it would be an ideal opportunity to tidy-up our trees!

Join us at one of our conservation sites to remove the tree guards from trees that we planted a few years ago, and collect them ready to be recycled. We’ll also check that the trees are in good condition and pick up any other litter that is in the field.

All ages welcome.

Please bring a packed lunch. Brews and equipment will be provided.

Please wear sturdy boots and warm, waterproof clothing.
