Guest Speaker: Simon Travis, SAC Consulting
Topic: On-Farm Carbon Auditing
The aim of the Lowther Leith Facilitation Fund AGM is to bring members together so we can get your feedback on how we can move forward, and also hear what topics you really want us to cover over the next year.
As part of the meeting we’re delighted to welcome Simon Travis to talk about what makes an individual farm’s carbon footprint; how this can be reduced and the main influencing factors.
Simon has been in high demand for this talk on this subject – don’t miss this opportunity to hear from him. It is essential that farmers get a better understanding of the challenges ahead in the sector when it comes to the environment, and what they can do to reduce their own carbon footprint to help achieve the goal for the farming industry to be carbon neutral by 2040.
Please arrive at 6.45pm at the Lowther Castle Inn, Hackthorpe for refreshments followed by a pub meal at 7.15pm. The AGM is expected to commence at 8pm, followed by the guest speaker.
