Community tree planting days: Crosby Ravensworth

Date: Saturday 15 January | 10 am - 3 pm | Crake Trees Manor, Crosby Ravensworth

A few months ago, we constructed a whole host of ponds and wetlands at Crake Trees Manor that will slow the flow of water, reducing potential flood risk to communities downstream and creating some fantastic wildlife habitat!

Join us on Saturday 15th January to see the site for yourself and help give the project its finishing touch – the planting of trees to help slow the flow of water!

Suitable for: anyone who can join us for the day, or just for an hour or two. All ages welcome, children must be accompanied by a responsible adult
Experience: no experience is needed.
Wear/bring: gloves and stout boots/wellies, old warm clothes, waterproofs, drinks, snacks & lunch.

Booking in advance is essential as all of our events operate within Covid guidelines to keep everyone safe

If you have any Covid symptoms on the day, please do not come along to the work party and contact Jenni Payne to let her know that you won’t be there.

Book your place now by contacting Jenni Payne, Volunteer Coordinator at volunteers@edenrt.org or call her on 01768 866788.
