Come and find out what all the fuss is all about this fast-spreading, invasive, non-native plant. Pick up tips for effective balsam bashing and learn the best way to combat Himalayan balsam as an individual or by going out with a group. Suitable for everyone.

Join us for this community event and help rid the valley of this invasive plant!
The plan is for ERT volunteers to work up the valley from the conservation site and for members of the local community to work down the valley from the old droving watering hole.

Residents, volunteers and visitors welcome!

Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Wear gloves (gardening ones are best if you’ve got them) and long-sleeved tops/trousers.

Booking is essential. Joining details will be sent out to you once your place has been confirmed.

Email Jenni Payne, Volunteer Coordinator at to book your place.
(Please provide name(s) of those planning to attend and contact phone number )
